Ana Garza
Ana Garza began her airline career with United Airlines in 1989 at the Washington Dulles Reservations Center in Sterling, Virginia. After two years, she transferred to Dulles Airport, and in 1992 she relocated to San Antonio, where she worked in Customer Service and later served as a Service Director through the Continental merger.
In 2014, she transitioned to her current role on the Fleet Ramp, where she continues to play an important role in supporting daily operations.A proud union member since 2000, Ana has dedicated herself to advocating for and supporting her fellow members. She was appointed as a Steward for Local 2210 and has been consistently reelected by her peers. In addition to her stewardship responsibilities, she has served as an Auditor and currently serves as a Trustee.
Her union education includes Leadership I, Leadership II, Advanced Leadership, and Train-the-Trainer programs.In 2012, Ana joined the IAMAW District 141 Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as a Peer Coordinator. She has completed EAP I–IV training, along with specialized certifications in Veterans Assistance and Financial Officer programs, strengthening her ability to assist members facing personal and professional challenges.Known for her dedication, compassion, and commitment to service, Ana is driven by a desire to help others. She is recognized as a dependable leader and trusted resource who is always willing to step up when members need support most.
